At Meadowstrides Learning, we provide a learning environment for grade school students that is holistic and developmentally appropriate. The arts, real-life experiences, and the natural environment are included in the children's daily learning. We strive to create a setting where the children can do their best work every day and thus can grow beyond personal challenges.

Our staff at Meadowstrides Learning is trained and experienced in Waldorf early childhood and grades teaching, in curative anthroposophical work and in environmental education. We are passionate about working with children to provide the best possible care and education for your child.

Our grades program is inspired by the curative work of Rudolf Steiner and his original Waldorf curriculum. Besides language arts and math, we teach German, handwork, music, woodworking, fine arts, gardening and animal husbandry, as stand-alone lessons or interdisciplinary during our main lesson blocks.
